WAY MAKER

PROVERBS 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

When you look to the Lord for guidance and help, you can be sure he will not let you wander. His love for his children is great. He will show you where to walk when you have no idea what to do. When you seek his wise counsel, he will be there waiting to give it to you.

When you cannot discern which way to go, lean in to hear his voice. Leaning has the sense of putting your whole weight on something, resting on and trusting in that person or thing. When we have an important decision to make, we sometimes feel we can't trust anyone - even God. But God knows the best path for us. He is a better judge of what we need than we are! We must trust him completely in every choice we make. We should listen to and accept and accept correction from God's word and wise counselors. Bring your decisions to God in prayer, use the Bible as your guide, and then follow God's leading. He will make your way, straight by both guiding and protecting you.

REFLECTION:

Do you listen when God speaks? What is he saying? Does your heart pull one way over another? Do you feel the freedom to choose wht you will and the confidence that God will redirect you if need be?

PRAYER:

Father, I trust when I look to you that you will guide me down the path you have chosen for me and when I seek you first you will always go with me and make the way that is meant for me through your will. Help me to remember to always bring my decisions to you in prayer and to have the confidence to listen and know which way you are guiding me towards. Lord I am thankful you are my way maker and always help keep my paths straight even when I am unsure. Lord I submit to you in all ways and if there is an area I haven't fully submitted show me so I can correct my ways and be yours totally. In Jesus name I pray today. Amen.

ACTION:

Read and study Praverbs 3, the Pray and ask God to give you guidance. He will answer.

Have a blessed day.
