Psalm 107:1-2
Give thanks to the Lord for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
All you have to do is look around each day and you can find a blessing from God, each and every moment is a precious gift from God. We can choose to have a grateful attitude and live each moment full of joy simply because of God's goodness. He has given us so much to be thankful for. Here is a short list of what I can think of:
Family
Friendships
Trials he puts us through
Roof over our head
Clean water
Your gifts and talents
The Word of God
God's unconditional love
There is so much more, take some time today and to this list what you are grateful for, you can do it throughout the day.
Yesterday our power was knocked out for nearly 7 hours by a neighbor cutting down a tree and rather than be angry I was thankful my husband thought to get us a generator and set our home up to run that way if needed. Yes it was a hassle and chore, but we were blessed to not be without complete power God took care of us.
