2. Thank Him
A huge heartfelt thank you is always a great way to start a conversation. Like any parent, God loves when we have grateful hearts. More importantly it is that we are taking time to praise God for all he has done for us, the answered pryaers, healing, grace, overcoming impossible situations and so much more. Our faith by believing in even greater answers to prayer will grow stronger and more confident. Praise opens the gates of heaven and should always be included in our alone time with God.
He wants us to be strong and confident when coming to him, we are to give it to him then let God work his will in our lives. Is this hard? Sure! Our humanity makes it difficult to let anything go until we have the answers we want. But by growing our Prayer lives our trust and faith also grow and it allows us peace knowing he has control. Seeking Jesus each day brings peace in and of itself once you build the relationship and have the trust your peace and joy will know no limits!
