I have a devotional on prayer that I am doing and this struck me today.
Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
Habit reboot by Darryl Dash talks about how prayer is easy yet challenging at the same time, and I so find this to be true. In prayer we have God's ear and we know it. But my mind wanders at times, I struggle to tell him the truth for fear of sounding like a needy baby, I don't always know what to say and I am afraid he's going to get tired of me. So in this devotional the advice is "just start" acknowledge your fears or discomforts, talk to God just like you would your best friend don't be afraid to ask for help. But the best advice I saw was the "just start" and let it go from there! Hopefully this helps someone else to "just start" today and not let our human mind dissuade you from talking to God!
