Some days it feels as if life is so disconnected, there has been this nasty cold or bug that has been going around since January and really since Covid life never has totally gotten back to normal and it makes it even harder to feel connected to the people in our lives at times. But there is always room for hope, and that hope can begin with each of us. Every day we have the chance to spread kindness whether it is in our family or in our community. So today I challenge you to spread kindness..... I am going to share a few ideas below that may be something you feel you can do.
Smile at a stranger
Volunteer at a local soup kitchen or food bank
Bring someone flowers
Donate used books or toys to you local community center
Have you shopped local lately? Write a glowing review
Handwrite and mail someone a letter
Help an elderly neighbor
These are just a few things I could come up with, think of something and spread kindness. It will not only brighten someone else's day, it will brighten yours as well.
Psalm 23:3 God restores my soul!
Have a blessed day
