Matthew 6:11
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD
God helps us as we put our trust in him, not as we fret and worry about our future problems. If we use today to worry about tomorrow we have wasted today. Instead come to God, trust His provision one day at a time.
When we pray, Give us this day our daily bread. We are acknowledging God as our provider. He gives us the strength, wisdom, courage and the Holy Spirit to lead us each day and give us guidance. Our walk with God is a daily walk for a reason: we need His help every day.
As we pray this prayer, we confess that we are not self-sufficient and we need to trust God daily to provide what he knows we need. When we walk in faith, God's grace will meet you every step of the way.
